Position Summary: This faculty member will be part of the Department of Biochemistry and Genetics at Campbell University Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine (CUSOM). This individual is responsible for teaching biochemistry courses and other topics relative to expertise in the preclinical, integrated medical school curriculum and other CUSOM programs as needed, using traditional and innovative modes of delivery. Duties include participation in curriculum development and implementation; serving as an academic advisor; membership and participation on SOM and University committees; participation in the interview and selection process of SOM students; continued scholarly activity and participating in campus and community service activities. The position reports directly to the Chair of the Department of Biochemistry and Genetics and to the Assistant Dean for Biomedical Affairs through the Chair of the Department of Biochemistry and Genetics.
