Freshly Printed: The Role You've Been Looking For

As a Bindery Operator Assistant, you support production by assisting with finishing processes such as collating, stitching, cutting, and packaging materials. You help maintain accurate time and material tracking to support efficient operations. In this role, you assist with machine upkeep through cleaning, basic maintenance, and helping troubleshoot minor issues. You play an important part in keeping workflow steady, quality consistent, and the team moving forward.

From Setup to Finish: Your Role in the Process

• Stitching and punching documents
• Coiling and cutting materials
• Gluing pages or covers
• Cleaning equipment regularly
• Performing basic preventative maintenance
• Troubleshooting mechanical issues as they arise
• Following general guidelines and job specifications
• Collaborating with coworkers and supervisors

The Fine Print: What You Need to Succeed

• Must be quality-minded and pay attention to detail
• Must be able to read and understand a job ticket
• The ability to problem solve
• Must have strong attendance and good work ethic
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary
• Must be at least 18 years of age to operate equipment
• Basic computer skills to perform data entry and job tracking
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping, and standing activities for the entirety of the shift

Your Production Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Overtime available
