This role involves operating and setting up various bindery machines, including auxiliary, automatic, and adhesive binders, to produce finished printed materials such as books, catalogs, and magazines. The technician inspects equipment for safety, makes adjustments for optimal operation, and oversees production quality, output, and productivity. Qualifications include the ability to interpret work orders, calculate machine clearances, and skillfully adjust machinery. Knowledge of complex binding equipment, paper stock requirements, and finishing procedures is essential. The position is Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a pay range of $19.01–$28.18/hour, plus benefits such as insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans.
