    About the Opportunity
    A growing mid-size law firm is seeking a detail-oriented Billing and Communications Supervisor to join the team at their headquarters in the World Trade Center, downtown Long Beach. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys problem-solving, team collaboration, and process improvement. We’re looking for a Billing & Communications Coordinator to serve as a key point of contact between our firm, insurance adjusters, carriers, and clients. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication and organizational skills who can manage billing-related correspondence, follow up on outstanding items, and help keep matters moving efficiently. The right candidate is professional, detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable communicating with multiple parties throughout the claims and billing process.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Excel/reporting tools for tracking
    • Audit trail maintenance write-offs
    • Client-service orientation
    • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
    • Vocal, able to identify and escalate collection issues
    Ideal Candidate Profile
    • Maintaining bill rates within ProLaw system software and various e-billing
      websites
    • Submitting automated LEDES files via customized E-Billing Hub portal
    • Tracking status of e-billed invoices
    • Coordinating appeals responses from attorneys for deductions taken
    • Logging external write-offs
    • Revising and resubmitting any rejected invoices
    • Processing edits provided by attorneys for their time entries
    • Organizing and attaching supporting receipts for expense charges
    • Collection calls and e-mails with clients and monthly updates to team
    Qualifications
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Excellent communication and follow-up abilities
    • Proficiency with billing software (ProLaw, E-Billing Hub) a plus
    • Positive attitude and proactive approach to challenges
    • Microsoft Excel: 4 years (Preferred)
    • Billing Experience: 4 years (Required)
