Billing Specialist

A Kforce client is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join their growing accounting team. This is a fully remote position; However, candidates must reside in one of the following states: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Illinois, Maryland, or South Florida.

The Billing Specialist will play a key role in supporting the firm's billing operations, working closely with attorneys and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing. This position is best suited for someone with strong law firm billing experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Billing Specialist will prepare and process client invoices, including generating and reviewing prebills
• Edit attorney time entries and ensure compliance with client billing guidelines
• Submit invoices through various e-billing platforms and resolve billing discrepancies
• As a Billing Specialist, you will maintain billing rates and update client records as needed
• Set up new matters and manage billing data within the system
• Review and correct billing errors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
