Billing Representative

As a leading ambulance service provider, we rely on a dedicated team behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly. Now, we're looking for a Collection Specialist to help us manage the financial lifeline that keeps our mission moving forward.

What You’ll Do:
As our Collection Specialist, you’ll be the critical connection between our services and the timely resolution of patient accounts. You’ll use your communication skills, attention to detail, and persistence to:

• Make outbound collection calls on accounts flagged for follow-up

• Review and prioritize accounts for collection activity

• Document all collection efforts with accuracy and professionalism

• Manage incoming billing voicemail messages, ensuring all patient and insurance inquiries are returned promptly and resolved efficiently

• Collaborate with billing staff to escalate complex issues and ensure smooth account resolution

• Serve as a friendly yet firm voice for the company when discussing financial responsibilities with patients

What We’re Looking For:
We’re not just looking for someone who can make calls — we’re looking for someone who can make a difference!

• Experience in medical billing, collections, or patient financial services is a plus, but not required.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Comfort with computer systems, voicemail systems, and basic office software

• A patient, empathetic demeanor balanced with confidence and professionalism
