Were seeking an experienced Medical Billing Coordinator to support accurate billing, insurance verification, and patient financial care. Athena experience strongly preferred strong EMR skills required.
Duties:
- Charge entry, payments, and daily billing updates
- Insurance verification 72 hours before appointments
- Claim submission, denial resolution, and A/R follow-up
- Support patients with billing questions and payment plans
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA
Requirements:
- Medical billing/RCM experience
- Athena or strong EMR proficiency
- Knowledge of insurance, EOBs, reimbursement
- Billing/coding certification (CPC, CBCS, etc.)
- Strong communication, accuracy, and multitasking
