Billing Analyst

Required Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on billing and collections experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting
  
• Working knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
  
• Familiarity with commercial insurance and government reimbursement programs (Medicaid, Managed Care, etc.)
  
• Experience with claims review, analysis, and quality assurance
  
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and diagnostic coding systems
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills — you can explain billing issues clearly to non-billing audiences
  
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management
  
• Self-starter who manages competing priorities without close supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with or overseeing offshore billing teams
  
• Working knowledge of Practice Management, Case Management, and EMR software
  
• Familiarity with behavioral health program billing (OMH, OASAS, OPWDD, SED, or similar)
