Position Summary The Subaru Certified Master Technician functions as a skilled-level technician capable of performing diagnostics and repairs in all areas, with specialization in certain systems. This role is ideal for technicians who have previously worked as a B-Class general service technician and are ready to take the next step in their career. Compensation & Benefits - Compensation: $35.00 - $40.00 based on experience

Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions and complete repairs correctly the first time
- Communicate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts
- Save and tag parts as required for warranty or customer requests
- Inspect vehicles for additional safety or service needs and make recommendations
- Communicate promptly with service advisors regarding additional work, delays, or changes
- Document all work performed and recommended on repair orders
- Road test vehicles when required
- Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training, schools, and events
- Stay current with Subaru technical bulletins and service updates
- Supervise and assist apprentice technicians as assigned
- Report machinery defects or malfunctions to management
- Maintain cleanliness of customer vehicles and notify service advisors of any changes in condition
- Keep shop area clean and organized
- Maintain and be accountable for dealership-owned tools and manuals
- Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, hazardous waste disposal, etc.)
- Operate all tools and equipment safely and report safety issues immediately
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications - Subaru Certified Master Technician (required)
- Prior experience as a B-Class General Service Technician
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
