Job Overview
Speech Kids NY is seeking licensed BILINGUAL SPANISHSpeech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Clinical Fellows (CFs) for in-person, school-based positions in Brooklyn, NY.
This role involves working with preschool and school-age students in a structured school setting, providing direct therapy services and maintaining required documentation.
Schedule
- Guaranteed 6 hours per day (30 hours per week)
- 5 hours of direct therapy
- 1 hour for documentation and paperwork
Compensation (W-2)
- $75/hour – Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- $90/hour – Licensed SLPs
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide speech-language therapy to pediatric students
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with school staff and multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate with families as needed regarding student progress
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) – Required
- BEA Score in SPANISH or bilingual extention
- NYS Speech-Language Pathology License – Preferred
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) – Preferred
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
