TX-STAR Speech Language Services works with school districts throughout Texas to provide dependable educational staffing and student support solutions. We are currently seeking qualified educators for two school-based teaching positions with a partner district in the San Antonio area:
Bilingual Social Studies Teacher, Grades 6–12 (Texas Certified)
Bilingual Science Teacher, Grades 6–12 (Texas Certified)

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a classroom teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging instruction, monitor student achievement, and work closely with campus teams to maintain a supportive and productive learning environment.
In this role, you will:
Teach course content in accordance with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills standards and district curriculum expectations
Develop lesson plans, assignments, and instructional activities that encourage participation and academic progress
Adapt teaching strategies to address students’ individual learning styles, academic levels, and language needs
Establish clear classroom expectations and foster an organized, respectful, and inclusive environment
Measure student understanding through assignments, assessments, and classroom observation
Provide students with constructive and timely feedback on their performance
Partner with administrators, fellow educators, support personnel, and families to promote student success
Attend faculty meetings, professional learning sessions, and other campus-based programs
Keep grades, attendance records, and required instructional documentation complete and up to date
Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to support bilingual students and families
Qualifications for This Position
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Current Texas teaching certification in Grades 6–12 Social Studies or Grades 6–12 Science
Professional fluency in both English and Spanish
Effective classroom leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
Capacity to collaborate successfully with teachers, administrators, families, and support teams
Strong commitment to student learning, achievement, and personal development
Previous experience teaching in a school-based setting is preferred
