Job Overview: Hours (noon-9pm/off Thurs/fridays)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards, including FDA regulations and CGMP. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our products and ensuring that they meet the highest quality standards.

Duties

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to assess adherence to quality standards.
  • Analyze data from quality control processes to identify trends, areas for improvement, and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Ensure that all quality assurance documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
  • Train and mentor staff on quality assurance practices and procedures.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory changes related to quality assurance.

Experience

  • Proven experience in QA/QC roles within a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, including quality systems and inspection techniques.
  • Familiarity with CGMP requirements and FDA regulations is essential.
  • Experience in conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions based on findings.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets related to product quality.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and collaboration.
  • Maintains and reviews documents for HACCP, FDA and USDA compliance.
  • BS Degree in biology, microbiology, food science, food technology or related field with 1-2 year experience or MS Degree in the same subjects with 0-1 year experience or 5+ years of experience in related field. Must not be food allergen sensitive Ability to quickly learn and comply with company safety , quality, Good Manufacturing Practices, and other required policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated analytical and technical capabilities, leadership and team working skills, good communication skills, including written, electronic, and verbal
  • Must be available to work any/all shifts, holidays, and long hours as required
  • Capability to work in refrigerated environment
