Your mission

Drive safety, quality, accuracy, and output while maximizing resources and cutting scrap/rework. Keep equipment reliable through frequent checks, and partner with maintenance and engineering to resolve issues quickly. Keep leadership informed with crisp status updates grounded in accurate data.

Core responsibilities

• Lead a production team to hit manufacturing standards and production targets.
• Plan, prioritize, and assign daily tasks based on workload and priorities.
• Monitor process performance for efficiency, quality, and safety compliance.
• Conduct regular equipment and machinery inspections; initiate corrective action.
• Troubleshoot alongside maintenance and engineering to resolve technical problems.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and practices.
• Maintain precise records of output, downtime, and material consumption.
• Train and cross-train team members on safety, production techniques, and equipment use.
• Ensure production schedules are met; provide timely status updates to leadership.
• Work cross-functionally with Quality Control and Logistics for smooth flow and on-time delivery.
• Perform additional duties aimed at improving production operations.

What sets you up for success

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and inventory management.
• Hands-on with production scheduling tools or ERP systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Rapid problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organization, prioritization, and attention to detail with a commitment to quality.

Where you’ll work

• Manufacturing floor featuring stamping presses, roll formers, laser cutting, and standard sheet metal fabrication equipment; minimal outdoor exposure.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs; repetitive hand use with simple grasping; pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs; standing, lifting, bending, twisting, walking, sitting, squatting, reaching above shoulders, and climbing.
• You will directly lead machine operators, assemblers, and other production staff.
• Primary schedule: Third shift leadership.
