Bilingual Paraprofessional at the ALC

The Bilingual Paraprofessional position involves providing academic support to limited English-speaking students, focusing on reading and language development in both English and Spanish.

Key responsibilities include assisting second language learners, communicating effectively with students, teachers, staff, and families in both languages, and supporting classroom activities.

Requirements include:

• Bilingual proficiency in speaking and writing in English and Spanish
• Knowledge of language teaching practices and techniques
• Basic proficiency in paraprofessional duties
• Experience working with children, families, and diverse communities (up to one year)
• Strong communication skills in both languages
