ABC Supply Outdoor Solutions, an ABC Supply Company and wholesale distributor of aluminum products and building supplies, is seeking a logistics professional to join its team. An Off-Site Supervisor is responsible for daily operations of the off-site location, the security of the building and assets. This role will work closely with the branch manager and is accountable for the growth in sales, gross profit, and income of the location. Additional responsibilities including assisting the branch manager in staffing, HR, procurement, inventory control, marketing, P&L, finance, associate engagement, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Specific duties may include:
- Ensuring a safe environment for both the associates and customers
- Sustaining open, effective communication with all departments to facilitate location operations
- Supporting continual process improvement in employee engagement and customer satisfaction
- Ensuring all Customer Service Delivery System (CSDS) processes are being adhered to
- Promoting and marketing all product lines, as requested by the branch manager
- Maintaining security of physical site of branch, and safeguarding company assets
- Generating pick-tickets, credit memo’s, return material authorizations and all other Agility related procedures
- Conducting daily cash balance, cash drawer(s) and daily deposits
- Travelling to company events occassionally, as requested
- Working with the branch manager and local outside sales force on market pricing to ensure and maintain competitiveness in the market place
- Monitoring inventory levels to ensure they meet customer demand effectively
- Conducting monthly safety inspections, safety meeting and PM on any power units at location
- Assists the CFS staff and main branch manager on locations AR and collections
- Supervising the staff daily, including hours of work
- Other duties as assigned by Branch Manager
Specific qualifications include:
- Bilingual speaking in Spanish/English is required
- Previous and proven experience in a leadership role
- Strong product knowledge with various product groups/materials offered at the location
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to calculate figures, such as discounts, multipliers and gross profit
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple service needs simultaneously
