As a Bilingual Medical Office Assistant, you'll:
- Provide excellent customer service to our patients at our East Baltimore Medical Center Adult Medicine in partnership with Baltimore Medical System another local health system, that provides much-needed healthcare services to the community.
- Receive incoming and make outbound telephone calls to schedule appointments, process patient medication refills, process referrals, and take messages for the providers.
- Check patients in and out.
- Verify insurance and collect demographics.
What You'll Need to be Successful:
High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years experience in healthcare or customer service preferred.
EPIC experience is very helpful!
Bilingual in Spanish & English required! Must pass Spanish proficiency exam.
Ability to successfully pass all required training to obtain security access to perform role. Includes, but not limited to: Electronic medical record training, Insurance training-foundations, government and commercial.
