This position is especially well-suited for someone with prior customer service experience, ideally in leasing, property management, hospitality, retail, or another people-focused environment. Previous leasing experience is preferred but not required. Spanish fluency is required to effectively communicate with and support a diverse resident community.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet prospective residents and learn about their needs through thoughtful questions and conversation.
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.
- Accurately document all prospect interactions and maintain organized records using designated systems.
- Conduct community and apartment tours, highlighting features and amenities that best fit each prospect’s lifestyle and preferences.
- Guide prospects through the leasing and application process, answering questions and ensuring all required information is collected.
- Assist with processing applications, obtaining supporting documentation, and preparing lease paperwork.
- Maintain current knowledge of apartment availability, pricing, and community offerings.
- Work closely with team members to ensure homes are prepared and ready for scheduled move-ins.
- Welcome new residents and provide a thorough introduction to the community, amenities, and important information.
- Support lease renewals by communicating with residents and assisting with follow-up as needed.
- Maintain accurate files, reports, and resident records in accordance with company policies.
- Assist with resident communications, community updates, and day-to-day office support.
- Participate in outreach efforts, marketing initiatives, and community events to help build a strong sense of community.
