Bilingual Admissions & Family Engagement Specialist

Pay: $20–$25 per hour.
Reports to: Center Director.
Tiny Steps Learning Center is seeking a professional, organized, and bilingual Admissions & Family Engagement Specialist to support family enrollment, parent communication, community engagement, and daily administrative needs.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with families, communicates clearly in English and Spanish, stays organized in a busy environment, and can help create a welcoming experience for current and prospective families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support prospective families through tours, inquiries, enrollment follow-ups, and onboarding.
- Assist families with 4Cs vouchers and childcare subsidy documentation.
- Plan and support parent engagement activities, family events, workshops, and community outreach.
- Build positive relationships with families, staff, and community partners.
- Create social media content, flyers, announcements, and event posts using Canva or similar tools.
- Take approved photos/videos of classroom activities and events while following privacy guidelines and center policies.
- Maintain children’s files, enrollment records, attendance tracking, CACFP meal counts, and compliance documents.
- Assist leadership with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in childcare, school, family services, administrative, or community-based work.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience with Canva or similar content creation tools preferred.
- Familiarity with 4Cs, CACFP, ASQ, or childcare enrollment documentation preferred.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Early Childhood Education, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Must meet NJ childcare clearance requirements.
