digitalLIFT seeks contract Digital Literacy Coordinator (up to 15 hours a week, pay rate $30 per hour) to coordinate community digital literacy programming and deliver basic digital literacy training and tech support to older adults in person in East Bay, California.You will be the point person ensuring training sessions run smoothly at partner sites - managing logistics, materials, community relationships while also stepping in to teach and support learners directly. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys both the organizational side of running a program and the satisfaction of teaching.Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and day-to-day operations for training sessions at partner sitesPerform site visits to ensure proper class set‑up and that locations are ready for each sessionConfigure devices according to set‑up guidelines and prepare training materials and documents for instructors and learnersServe as the main point of contact for partner sites, ensuring compliance with project requirementsIdentify and troubleshoot issues on the ground, escalating to the Program Manager as neededDeliver Digital Literacy Training Provide digital literacy training to adults in‑person at partner sites in East Bay, California and remotely if neededFollow an established curriculum to provide 1‑on‑1 or group training to help adults develop skills to safely and confidently use technologyAdjust curriculum to address identified needs within a student cohortCommunity Outreach Support and Public Relations Act as digitalLIFT representative and liaison within digitalLIFT learner communitiesSurvey community members to understand needs, interest and availability to participate in the programCommunicate class schedule and send reminders to assure participants attendanceContribute content to the digitalLIFT website and monthly e‑newsletterData Management & Reporting Ensure that all set‑up / follow‑up and instruction hours are reported for each sessionComplete and document online assessment of individuals to determine computer skills and training needsCollect and report additional data about programs, services, and volunteers, as needed by digitalLIFTTo flourish in this role, you need: Verbal and written fluency in English and CantoneseStrong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple moving pieces across sitesTeaching and communication skillsWorking knowledge of Google Suite (Calendar, Meets, Docs, Sheets, etc.) and other communication and collaboration tools (Zoom, Dropbox, etc.)Comfortable with learning new skills, tools and processesExperience operating mobile devices including smartphones, tablets, laptopsAbility to work flexible hoursWe are a multicultural team from diverse backgrounds. digitalLIFT provides fair and equal employment opportunities for all job applicants regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status or disability.You must be eligible to work in the United States.#J-18808-Ljbffr
