We work collaboratively to create a nurturing environment that addresses Members' needs with kindness and patience.
Our Core Values
Fountain of Joy Home upholds its principles “RICE” in delivering its services.
Respect – We treat people with courtesy, politeness, and kindness. It helps us to value differences, to appreciate each person for her or his unique qualities. Through respect, we help bring out the full potential of each person.
Integrity– Acting with honesty, transparency, and ethics without compromising the truth. Integrity should be the hallmark of every of our staff. In setting and observing the highest ethical standards and doing the right thing, we fulfill a duty of care, not only to the families and members in the communities we serve but to our colleagues and ourselves.
Collaboration – Do great things together. Through collaboration, we multiply our contribution. Together, we are stronger and can contribute more. Shared goals and mutual support lead to greater success than isolated work and individual focus. Collaboration requires dialogue – rather than argumentation – that demands openness to each other’s perspectives while we confidently advocate for our own ideas. This give and take – based on trust – is the essence of true teamwork and where the magic lives in what we do.
Empowerment – Discovering the power within and give the best. Empower those around you. Share what you know and attempt to make those around you better than yourself. Give those around you respect, responsibility, and control over their own tools so that they can begin to create and innovate for themselves. Lead by example. Choose to be mentally engaged and invested rather than distant or simply there.
