BILINGUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE BANKER (ENGLISH/SPANISH) | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

  • Location: Lincoln RI – 100% on-site
  • Payrate: $26/hr
  • Required Availability: Full-Time
    • Option 1: Tuesday – Friday (7:55 AM – 4:55 PM) & Saturday (8:55 AM – 5:55 PM)
    • Option 2: Tuesday – Friday (12:00 PM – 9:00 PM) & Saturday (11:00 AM – 8:00 PM)

BILINGUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE BANKER (ENGLISH/SPANISH) | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Bilingual Customer Service Banker is responsible for assisting clients through incoming calls with needs for credit and short-term lending while identifying additional opportunities to help them achieve their financial goals. Key expectations include building, deepening, and retaining client relationships, managing risk, and creating a positive customer experience.

BILINGUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE BANKER (ENGLISH/SPANISH) | RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Client Advisory: Work with clients to uncover needs for credit and short-term lending. Ask probing questions to understand life and financial goals, and recommend the best products, services, and solutions.
  • Customer Service & Sales: Respond to customer inquiries and concerns to create customized solutions. Sell and fulfill banking products including credit cards, lending solutions, and checking/savings accounts.
  • Referrals: Identify client needs for licensed sales functions and make strategic referrals to internal business partners.
  • Risk Management: Manage risk in every business, product, and service transaction by leveraging available tools and following guidelines.
  • Relationship Building: Create a positive client experience through active listening, addressing questions clearly, building rapport, and handling objections effectively.

BILINGUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE BANKER (ENGLISH/SPANISH) | REQUIREMENTS:

  • Language: Must be fully fluent in both Spanish and English (speaking, writing, and reading).
  • Education: Minimum High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Technical Skills: Minimum of an intermediate level of proficiency with computers and an ability to learn new technology/processes.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and active listening skills.
    • Self-motivated with excellent organizational habits and attention to detail.
    • Flexibility to work the required schedule, including weekends and holidays.
    • Comfort with ongoing change and receiving continuous performance feedback/coaching.

Desired Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):

  • Experience working in a call center or inbound/outbound contact center (phone, chat, and/or video).
  • Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry (e.g., as a Personal Banker managing high client volume).
  • Experience in Sales (up-selling, cross-selling, or referring products).
  • Background in Retail or Hospitality with a strong focus on customer service branding.
