About the Role:

ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Bilingual Mandarin Caregiver / Mandarin speaking Home Care Aide to join our growing team in El Cerrito, CA. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by providing personalized, culturally sensitive in-home care. Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
• Communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients and their families to ensure comfort and understanding
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding in accordance with dietary needs
• Support clients with mobility, transfers, and light exercise or physical activity
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, tidying, and errands
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
• Assist with medication reminders and scheduling of appointments
• Experience in using Hoyer Lift and transfers
• 12 hour shifts

Requirements:

• Fluency in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken) is required
• Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or a related healthcare setting preferred
• Valid California drivers license and reliable transportation
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Compassionate, patient, and culturally sensitive demeanor
• Ability to pass a background check and provide verifiable references
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
