We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Bilingual (Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Portuguese)Call Takers supporting community outreach initiatives. In this role, you will connect individuals in need with essential programs and services. The position offers $22 per hour and a hybrid schedule with three days on-site and two remote workdays, with potential for long-term growth and full-time employment.

Schedule/Work Arrangement

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 8:00AM to 4:00PM, or 9AM - 5PM
  • Training Schedule: First 2 weeks, Mon - Fri 10:00AM to 3:00PM - Fully remote except for 2nd week Thursday - on site to see the office

Responsibilities

  • Manage caller expectations while providing compassionate assistance
  • Document and input call details accurately across various computer systems
  • Navigate multiple platforms efficiently during high call volume days
  • Address a variety of issues, from rental assistance to mental health support
  • Support callers by delivering clear information and guidance

Credentials

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Portuguese

Required Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of two years of relevant work experience or five years of consistent employment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism
  • Experience in customer service, case management, or health/human services preferred
