Bilingual Business Development Representative - State Farm Agent

Position Overview

Antonio Mendoza State Farm is looking for a driven Business Development Representative in E Clark Ave Santa Maria, California who enjoys talking with people, following a process, and creating new business. This role includes a base pay structure plus eligible commission or bonus, with clear expectations around outbound activity and follow-up. Fluency in Spanish and English is required for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls and follow-ups to prospects and referral sources to build a pipeline of new business
  • Set appointments and move prospects through the sales process
  • Serve Spanish- and English-speaking customers clearly and accurately
  • Maintain accurate activity and pipeline records in the agency system
  • Meet weekly and monthly outreach and production goals
  • Participate in product training and licensing coursework

Qualifications

  • No prior experience required - we will train you
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
  • Strong phone presence and clear, confident communication
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with consistent outreach and follow-up
  • Willingness to obtain required insurance licenses
  • Team-oriented with a positive, coachable attitude
