Position Overview
The Bilingual Account Representative focuses on building new business relationships and creating a pipeline of qualified prospects for the agency’s sales team. This role is ideal for someone who is motivated by goals, comfortable starting conversations, and interested in growing a long-term career in insurance and financial services.
Responsibilities
- Provide information about insurance products and services.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide timely responses.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM
- Participate in community networking events
- Conduct outbound prospecting by phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person outreach
- Qualify inbound leads and schedule appointments
- Research target accounts and develop tailored outreach strategies
- Meet weekly and monthly lead generation targets
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams
Qualifications
- Self-starter with the ability to manage a large prospect list
- Competitive spirit with a team-player attitude
- Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with prospective customers
- No prior insurance experience required; sales aptitude and drive are key
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required
- Willingness to obtain insurance licenses
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
Compensation: $40,000 - $85,000
Base Salary + Commissions + Bonuses
Compensation includes a performance-based commission structure. Additional compensation details can be discussed during the interview process.
