PeaceHealth is seeking a BH Clinician Licensed for a Part Time 0.60 FTE Day position. This is a billable clinician position.

The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is 42.06 - 69.41. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

As an IBH Clinician, you will be a valued part of two teams: 1) the primary care clinic in which you work, and 2) a highly supportive team of Integrated Behavioral Health Clinicians working across all the primary care clinics. Job Summary

Coordinates and oversees the plan of care and service delivery of behavioral health consumers across the continuum of illness, promotes effective utilization and monitoring of healthcare resources, and works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal clinical outcomes. Provides services to consumers with commercial insurance and Medicaid and Medicare.

Details of the Position

  • Provides individual, family, group, and multi-family group therapy to patients with complex diagnostic presentations and treatment needs.
  • May provide clinical leadership to a team of masters and bachelors level clinicians, CSWA candidates, and MSW interns.
  • Assesses, develops, implements, and monitors a comprehensive plan of care through an interdisciplinary team process in conjunction with the patient and their self-identified natural supports.
  • Evaluates and provides interventions to improve a patients cognitive, social, vocational, spiritual, and emotional functioning utilizing natural and community supports when possible.
  • Provides urgent crisis evaluations, interventions, and safety planning.
  • Together with the consumer and natural supports identifies key problems, strengths, and resources to be addressed in the treatment plan.
  • May provide case management coordination with other treatment agencies or outside support services, outreach, and engagement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

  • Masters Degree Required: Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Minimum of 3 years Required Experience in behavioral health.
  • Required Upon Hire:
  • Licensed Professional Counselor - Oregon for jobs based in Oregon.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Oregon for jobs based in Oregon.
  • Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist - Oregon for jobs based in Oregon.
  • Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support.

Skills

  • Interpersonal skills to obtain and interpret information appropriate to patients needs and age as required for assessment, range of treatment, and patient care.
  • Proficiency with DSM-5 diagnoses and best practice treatment interventions for a variety of behavioral health conditions.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote positive interpersonal relationships and patient-family centered work environment.
  • Knowledge and adherence to Social Work Code of Ethics.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and documenting in electronic medical records.
  • Effective prioritization skills.

Oregon Network - Integrated Behavioral Health in Primary Care

Operates as an essential part of the primary care team providing direct intervention to patients and consultation to the medical team regarding behavioral and psychosocial aspects of health. Available for same-day and scheduled visits referred by the medical providers. Performs brief limited follow-up visits for selected patients. Participates in regularly scheduled consultation with the collaborating psychiatrist and communicates resulting treatment recommendations to the patients medical provider. For identified subpopulations, systematically tracks treatment response in a registry.
