BGA Rework Technician (Day)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled technician for a full-time/temporary position with the possibility of becoming permanent. This role involves reworking PCBAs and components, performing various duties according to training, experience, and skills. You will report directly to the Manufacturing Manager.

Responsibilities

• Review daily rework schedule with the manufacturing supervisor.
• Perform repairs on PCBs based on the daily schedule.
• Validate material and required documentation for work orders.
• Train new hires on SOPs and other necessary procedures.
• Maintain courteous, professional, and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent and/or relevant training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a contract manufacturing environment.
• Language: English proficiency is required; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
• Skills:
  • Skilled at removing parts from PCBA and using solder equipment.
  • Proficient in hand soldering, including jumper wires.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to read and understand work orders and manufacturing work instructions.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
  • Practical problem-solving skills.
