Beverage Lab Technician

Job Overview

Join our team as a skilled lab technician responsible for supporting scientists in creating innovative beverage formulas and prototypes. This role is essential for ensuring that laboratory activities align with technical, safety, and efficiency goals.

Compensation: $22 per hour

Location: Erlanger, KY (onsite/no relocation)

Work Schedule:

Day shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and interpret analytical testing to support beverage development.
• Batch formulas with minor modifications, screen flavors/colors, and adjust formulas as needed.
• Conduct informal sensory triangle tastings and stability tests under supervision.
• Generate data for demo sheets and assist in flavor option screening and selection.
• Adhere to ISO procedures and ensure all laboratory activities meet safety and efficiency standards.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• High School Diploma or higher; preference for food science or chemistry graduates.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in basic mathematical skills, including ratio scaling and percentage calculations.
• Understanding of basic scientific concepts and terminology.
• Comfortable with computer usage, including Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, and email applications.
• Analytical skills for instrument calibration and data reporting (e.g., pH, Brix, spectrophotometers).
• Problem-solving skills to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
• Must be a US Citizen and not require sponsorship
