We have generated an extensive product portfolio that includes frozen dispensed beverages, cold dispensed, hot dispensed and beverage enhancers.

We are seeking a Quality Technician who will be responsible for performing quality inspections and testing throughout the manufacturing process to ensure products meet company, customer, and regulatory quality standards. This role will monitor and verify food safety and quality programs, including GMPs, SSOPs, and Operational Prerequisite Programs (OPRPs), while conducting inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.

The Quality Technician will collect and analyze quality data, perform laboratory testing, calibrate and monitor equipment, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate any quality or food safety concerns to the Quality Manager in a timely manner. This position also supports continuous improvement initiatives and collaborates closely with Production to maintain a safe and compliant manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming inspections of carriers, raw ingredients, and packaging materials.
  • Review and document Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for incoming materials.
  • Monitor, analyze, and document in-process conditions, materials, and finished products.
  • Collect samples for microbiological testing and perform routine laboratory testing as required.
  • Conduct analytical testing of ingredients and finished products.
  • Perform production floor audits, GMP inspections, and documentation reviews to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Monitor compliance with GMPs, SSOPs, and OPRPs.
  • Collect, label, store, and maintain retain samples.
  • Calibrate and verify laboratory and production equipment.
  • Monitor temperature records and chart recorders.
  • Document inspection and testing results accurately and communicate any deficiencies or non-conformances to the Quality Manager promptly.
  • Utilize SAP and other quality systems to maintain records and support production activities.
  • Maintain individual email, SAP, and Alchemy system access for daily responsibilities.
  • Support additional quality assurance initiatives and projects as assigned by QA Management.

 

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred; entry-level QA experience will also be considered.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn and utilize SAP and other quality management systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and remain organized in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good attendance and reliability.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours during peak production season (October–February).

Working Hours

  • Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM. Extended hours are required during the busy season (October–February), with typical shifts from 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

Salary

  • $18.00per hour
