We are seeking a BESS Principal Engineer to play a critical leadership role in the development and execution of large‑scale battery energy storage systems (BESS). This position offers the opportunity to design and deliver industry‑leading energy storage solutions that directly support the transition to a cleaner, more resilient electric grid.

What We're Looking For
Required Experience & Skills
3+ years of experience in solar PV and/or energy storage engineering or construction
Deep expertise in at least one of the following:
Battery energy storage system (BESS) design
Power electronics
Substation or generation tie design
Strong knowledge of energy storage technologies, including battery chemistries and power conversion equipment
Familiarity with lithium‑ion safety and code requirements (UL1973, UL9540, NFPA 855, NEC, IFC/IBC)
Ability to independently lead complex technical workstreams
Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $65.00/hr.
