JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The Benefits Training Associate provides general support to Human Resources. This position primarily performs duties for Benefits, Compensation, and Employment/Employee Relations. Additionally, this position acts as a Campus Learning Administrator (CLA) for the LMS K@TE to support campus training efforts.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED)
EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years of administrative support in an office environment; OR Bachelor's Degree and one (1) year of administrative support in an office environment; OR a combination of education and experience to equal five (5) years.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of training and adult learning techniques.
- Excellent computer skills including SharePoint, MS Office, and Oracle.
- Knowledge of website maintenance.
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to meet deadlines, make sound decisions; adaptable and flexible.
- Ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of adult learning and training techniques preferred.
- Assists employees with general benefit questions and enrollment.
- Facilitates a portion of the bi-weekly New Hire Orientation.
- Utilizes the K@TE system to monitor assignments for new hires, etc.
- Provides support (access, reports, data cleanup) to the campus as it relates to the K@TE system.
- Upload employee''s probationary evaluations, PDs, and other compensation-related documents.
- Serves as campus learning administrator, logs training events, and provides registration support in the system training tool K@TE.
- Assists employees with general benefit questions and enrollment.
- Reviews, analyzes, and responds to general HR related inquiries.
- Maintains HR websites; responds to Benefits and Compensation emails.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
