A specialized Benefits Administrator is seeking a senior-level Benefits Relationship Manager to take ownership of an established book of business. This is a rare opportunity for a benefits professional who is ready to step into the lead client-facing role at a boutique, highly specialized firm with deep expertise in self-funded health plan administration.
The organization has been in operation for 30+ years, primarily serving union and public sector clients across the region. With a strong operational foundation and a loyal client base, the incoming leader will assume primary responsibility for the client relationships.
About the Role
This position oversees an existing book of business generating approximately $2M in revenue. The Benefits Relationship Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for plan sponsors, brokers, and union trustees — maintaining and deepening those relationships while identifying opportunities for growth. The right candidate is a trusted advisor who understands the nuances of self-funded health plan administration in the public sector space and can speak credibly to both the technical and strategic aspects of benefit plan design.
This role is largely hybrid/remote, with regular client visits and meetings required.
