Benefits & Leave Specialist
Location: Remote EST Time Zone (United States)
Employment Type: 6 Month Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
Role Overview
An opportunity is available for a Benefits and Leave Specialist to support day-to-day global leave of absence and benefits administration. This role serves as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure compliant and timely case resolution. The work allocation is approximately 70% benefits administration and 30% leave administration, with a focus on both US and non-US programs.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in benefits and leave of absence administration.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience using HRIS systems, specifically Workday, for leave processing and data management. Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for manual audits and tracking.
Expertise: Solid understanding of US and Global benefits administration and regulatory frameworks such as LOA, FMLA, USERRA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and GDPR. Proven experience managing end-to-end leave programs.

Compensation & Benefits
The estimated pay range for this position is $35.00/hr to $45.00/hr. The final rate will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. A benefits package is available to eligible employees.
