Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, MIS, computer science, healthcare informatics, or a related technical field or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and 5 years of relevant professional experience
- 3 years of experience working with health data analytics or combined analytic and operational data platforms
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Strong knowledge of:
- Relational databases and query tools (ANSI SQL, RDBMS platforms)
- Data modeling concepts (fact/dimension tables, star and snowflake schemas)
- Business intelligence reporting and requirements gathering
- Healthcare and benefits-related data terminology
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in data analytics, statistics, MIS, or information technology
- experience in healthcare, employee benefits, benefits consulting, or large-scale retail organizations
- experience analyzing and managing large-scale healthcare claims data within IBM or Merative (Truven) data warehouse platforms (e.g., Health Insights, HDMS, or similar), including developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using IBM or Merative business intelligence, reporting, and data visualization tools.
- Certifications such as:
- IBM Data Warehouse Engineer Professional Certificate
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or Group Benefits Associate (GBA)
