Itron's Global Total Rewards team is seeking a Benefits Analyst to support NAM and Global Benefits. This role reports to the Global Benefits Director. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience deploying NAM and Global benefit programs, offering market insights, and ensuring compliance with local laws while enhancing the employee experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Review, support and administer benefit programs and day-to-day operations including, but not limited to, health, life, disability, retirement, wellness, and EAP
Lead annual benefit renewal cycles with Itron's broker, as well as Global Benefits and local HR teams
Support global and regional benefit initiatives and rollouts including leading major projects
Participate in vendor selection and implementation projects and ongoing vendor management
Provide governance and administrative support on NAM retirement programs; may lead periodic reviews of retirement plan design
Advise and counsel employees and managers and HR business partners on benefit policies, issues, and resolution
Coordinate and participate in market surveys and provide analysis of benefit surveys to identify trends and areas of improvement
Develop ad hoc reports, metrics and dashboards and data-driven benefit recommendations
Partner with HR Managers to align with corporate benefits philosophy
Maintain documentation and audit trails for internal/external reviews
Ensure benefit programs comply with local labor laws in collaboration with Legal
Partner with Tax, Finance, Procurement, and HRIS to manage tax treatment, budgets, vendor contracts, and Workday delivery of benefits/absence plans
Optimize Workday's functionality to streamline benefits administration and employee experience

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of Benefits experience (must include US, Canada and Mexico)
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
Experience leading projects and deploying benefit programs
Strong analytical skills; advanced Excel proficiency
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present effectively
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
Ability to work effectively across time zones

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Experience using Workday HCM
Benefits expertise in US, Canada, Mexico, and internationally

Travel: 0-10%

This position also includes a competitive benefit package including; financial, social, health and wellbeing programs, paid vacation, 401k matching, employee stock purchase program, hybrid work schedule, and more! This position is eligible for our annual bonus program.

Liberty Lake, WA: The base salary is $96,000 - $175,000.
