Base pay in range will be determined by applicant's skills and experience. Role is also eligible for team based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company's 401(k) program.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits administration, with direct 401(k) plan administration experience preferred.

Performs professional-level administration and analytical support for retirement and health programs. Ensures plan integrity through rigorous compliance monitoring, vendor management, and data-driven insights.

  • Serves as the primary administrator for the 401(k) retirement plan, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and company policy.

  • Partners with recordkeeper to resolve issues and optimize plan operations

  • Coordinates annual activities such as internal and external audits and Form 5500 filings.

  • Conducts regular data audits between internal HRIS and vendor systems to ensure seamless file integration and deduction accuracy.

  • Assists in the review and interpretation of plan documents and summary plan descriptions and prepares language to reflect changes in plan design and administration.

  • Resolves department questions regarding the benefits program. Trains/mentors new and incumbent department associates. Provides input on the recruitment of benefits specialists.

  • Performs financial reconciliation of plan assets and premium payments; identifies and resolves discrepancies to ensure fiscal accountability.

  • Responsible for maintaining timeline of regulated activities (e.g. SMM/SPD disbursement, QDIA mailing, and non-discrimination testing). Maintains departmental contracts, vendor contacts and oversees the general organization of plan documents, associate records and the like.

  • Works with vendors to resolve issues as necessary

  • Assists in the administration of Health and Welfare programs.
