The Opportunity
This is a contract job for the State of Arizona. It is 3-6 months with possibility of a permanent position. Pay is still pending confirmation.
Full time / 40 hours per week, 3+ month contracts with possibility for conversion.
These positions will review unemployment claims, adjudicate them, conduct interviews, use critical thinking and analytical skills to make determinations and also write decisions. There will be classroom and on the job training.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and determine eligibility for various employee benefits programs.
Maintain accurate records of benefit eligibility and employee data.
Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of benefits programs.
Communicate benefit options and eligibility criteria to employees effectively.
Assist employees with questions regarding their benefits and eligibility.
Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with benefit regulations.
Monitor and track performance metrics related to benefit eligibility.
Analyze trends in benefit utilization and recommend improvements.
Prepare reports on benefit eligibility and program effectiveness.
Engage in team meetings to discuss strategies for achieving targets.
Provide feedback on processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in benefit regulations.
Experience/Qualifications
Experience evaluating employee benefits eligibility in a corporate setting.
Strong communication skills to explain benefits options clearly to employees.
Eagerness to evolve and improve personal and team performance.
Proficient in maintaining accurate employee records and data management.
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Ability to assist employees with questions regarding benefits and eligibility.
Analytical skills to identify trends in benefit utilization effectively.
