Payroll Implementation Specialist 

Division: Payroll Division

Reports To: Operations Manager

Employment Status: Non-Exempt | Full-Time

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm | Hybrid

Position Summary:

The Implementation Specialist plays a key role in onboarding new clients to the isolved Human Capital Management (HCM) platform. This individual serves as the primary liaison throughout the implementation process, ensuring a seamless transition for clients by understanding their unique needs, configuring the platform accordingly, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, solution-driven, and committed to excellence in client experience. This role ensures accurate, timely, and high-quality system implementations that drive client satisfaction and long-term success.

Essential Expectations and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for new clients during the onboarding process

  • Evaluate client needs and customize the isolved/HCM system to meet their specific requirements

  • Establish and manage an implementation timeline in line with client priorities and purchased applications

  • Lead client implementation calls and maintains clear, proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle

  • Conduct comprehensive data management tasks, including data gathering, input, and validation across all isolved/HCM modules

  • Maintain knowledge of other payroll software reporting and documents

  • Provide product demonstrations and client training to ensure confident platform use

  • Configure and implement HCM add-on products for both new and existing clients based on business needs

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Payroll, HCM, and Service, to facilitate a smooth and efficient implementation

  • Proactively identify and address challenges to ensure on-time, successful go-lives

  • Perform additional duties and special projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

  • 3+ years of experience in payroll, including at least 2 years in an implementation role.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).

  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve data issues

  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • High degree of professionalism when handling confidential information.

  • Accurate data entry and strong math proficiency.

  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently or collaboratively.

  • Effective organizational and time management skills.

Certification Requirement:

Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) will be required within the first year of employment. The employee will be required to complete the 12-week course and pass the exam. Bene-Care will fully sponsor the course and exam, supporting the employee through successful certification.

Physical Demands:

Primarily office-based with regular computer, phone, and document processing activity. Occasional lifting of light office materials (up to 25 lbs).

Work Conditions:

This role is based at Bene-Care's office, offering a collaborative workspace with modern tools, adequate lighting, ventilation, and comfortable temperatures.
