This is an amazing opportunity as a Bench Mechanic on the 2nd shift.
Monday - Thursday (4 x 10) 3:30pm-1:30am.
Under the direction of supervision or working leader you will work from verbal, written or computer-generated instructions to perform pre-coating operations. Operations include surface preparation and masking duties. Perform post coating tasks such as removing parts from fixtures, removing masking, troubleshooting, and diagnosing malfunctioning equipment. You will perform minor repairs on coating equipment where applicable. These repairs include but are not limited to the following:
You are required to be flexible around shifts, including overtime, for training and to maintain workflow. We look for responsibility to handle multiple significant priorities at a time. You may be assigned to carry out tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individuals' skills.

0-1 years of related experience, or a completed degree/certificate from a post-secondary or vocational school in a related field with 0-1+years related experience.
High School or GED
Experience with metal finishing methods, spray coating/paint application, machining, grinding, and/or welding.
Experience with computerized machine operation.
Experience with precision measuring instruments such as feeler gauges, verniers, calipers and micrometers.
Knowledge of arithmetic involving decimals and fractions
Understand and follow oral and written instructions concerning work methods and procedures.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic computer skills
Flexibility around shifts, for training and to maintain workflow, to include overtime.
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
