    Job Summary:
    Tryfacta is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (LVN) Psychiatric ICU for our client in Vallejo, CA 94590 . This is a 13-week contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please Apply Now!

    Position Title: Behavioral Health Technician (LVN) Psychiatric ICU
    Location: Vallejo, CA 94590
    Duration: 13 Weeks
    Work Schedule: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM, 5x8s

    Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
    • Provide care and support to patients receiving psychiatric treatment.
    • Assist with patient monitoring, safety checks, and behavioral observations.
    • Use therapeutic communication techniques and assist with therapeutic and recreational activities.
    • Support de-escalation strategies and crisis intervention techniques.
    • Assist with seclusion and restraint interventions when required.
    • Collect and document patient data, including behaviors, psychiatric symptoms, vital signs, intake/output, and changes in condition.
    • Report patient status changes and concerns to the RN and healthcare team.
    • Assist with admissions, discharges, intake interviews, and patient orientation as needed.
    • Provide age-appropriate care while addressing patients' physical, emotional, social, and cultural needs.

    • Active California LVN/LPN or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license required.
    • Minimum 1 year of psychiatric/behavioral health experience required.
    • BLS certification required.
    • CPI or crisis prevention training preferred (can be obtained onsite).
    • Experience in acute psychiatric or long-term mental healthcare settings preferred.
