Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor

Pay Range: $29.33 - $37.24, per hour

Reporting to the Community Housing & Support Services (CHSS) Director, this role oversees day-to-day operations in JAMHIs residential programs. Youll provide hands-on leadership to BHT staffmanaging scheduling, training, and performancewhile ensuring care is delivered safely, consistently, and in compliance with standards and licensing requirements.

This is a key position for someone who thrives in a dynamic, people-centered environment. You''ll help shape a supportive, therapeutic space for clients while building a strong, dependable team culture rooted in high-quality behavioral health care.

This is a full-time, permanent position with working hours of Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. with the occasional BHT shift coverage, when necessary. Wage placement is based on relevant work experience and education.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Three years of experience providing direct behavioral health services to individuals with severe mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorders, or intellectual/ developmental disabilities.

• Post secondary education in a related field can substitute on a year for year basis for up to two years of experience.

• One year in a supervisory or lead role within behavioral health or a related field.

License/Certification:

• Current CPR Certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver''s license with the ability to clear JAMHI auto insurance screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supervising unionized staff
• Behavioral Health Assistant Occupational Endorsement

All JAMHI positions require the ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with the current state regulation requirements and a valid Alaska drivers license and be able to clear the JAMHI auto insurance screening through the independent insurance carrier and/or if driving
