Behavioral Health Technicians are vital members of the Community Housing team and provide necessary oversight in our residential properties. Daily work consists of monitoring residents in our supportive living homes, encouraging residents to maintain a clean environment, and daily meal prep. You may be asked to accompany residents on group outings or participate in group activities. A valid drivers license and personal insurance are required.
This is a great position to start a career in human services or behavioral health. This position works 12-hour shifts. Shifts are from 7:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED postsecondary education. One year of experience in an environment that requires interaction with a broad cross section of people.
Preferred Qualifications Experience providing direct service in the field of human services.
All JAMHI positions require the ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with the current state regulation requirements and a valid Alaska drivers license and be able to clear the JAMHI auto insurance screening through the independent insurance carrier if driving.
