Behavioral Health Technician (Mon–Fri | Weekends Off)

Are you passionate about helping children and adolescents succeed? New Day, Inc. is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Behavioral Health Technician to join our Day Treatment team.
In this role, you'll work directly with youth in a structured therapeutic environment, providing support, supervision, transportation, and assistance with educational and behavioral goals. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in behavioral health, mental health services, social work, psychology, education, counseling, or human services careers.

Monday through Friday
Day shift: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

What You'll Do
Provide supervision, support, and care for youth in a Day Treatment setting
Build positive, therapeutic relationships with participants
Assist with educational activities, academics, and one-on-one support
Support therapists and supervisors during therapeutic programming
Transport participants to and from homes, appointments, activities, and treatment facilities using company vehicles
Monitor participant behavior and document significant observations
Respond appropriately to behavioral, mental health, and emergency situations within training guidelines
Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
Complete progress notes and incident documentation as required
Participate in team meetings and ongoing training
Qualifications
Required
Must be at least 21 years old
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Valid Montana Driver's License
Acceptable driving record
Ability to pass criminal background and child abuse background checks
Reliable transportation to and from work
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Preferred
Experience working with youth
Experience in behavioral health, mental health, childcare, social services, education, or human services
Bachelor's degree in a Human Services-related field
Experience working with emotionally disturbed youth or substance abuse treatment populations
Certifications
Training and certification provided by New Day, Inc.:
CPR Certification
First Aid Certification
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training
