Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT/LVN) | Vallejo, CA (Night Shift)

Support patients on their path toward healing and recovery in a compassionate behavioral health environment. We’re seeking a dedicated Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT/LVN) to join a psychiatric care team in Vallejo, CA, providing exceptional care to children, adolescents, and adults.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver direct and indirect psychiatric patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Monitor patient behaviors, psychiatric symptoms, vital signs, and overall condition

  • Use therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques to support patient safety and recovery

  • Administer medications and document patient responses according to physician orders

  • Assist with admissions, discharges, patient orientations, and therapeutic activities

  • Support patient education related to safety, coping skills, hygiene, and treatment plans

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team

What You’ll Bring:

  • Current LVN/LPN or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license required

  • BLS certification required

  • CPI or TEAM certification required

  • Behavioral health, psychiatric, or acute care experience preferred

  • Strong communication, observation, and crisis intervention skills

  • Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care in a fast-paced setting
