Job Summary:

In this role, you will monitor client wellbeing, assist with daily activities, respond to crises, support treatment plans, facilitate group activities, and help maintain a structured environment that promotes positive client outcomes. You will also participate in admissions, documentation, health monitoring, and client observations while working closely with supervisors and treatment teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide supportive daily care and redirection to clients while promoting a safe, therapeutic, and structured environment
· Monitor client health by obtaining vital signs, observing symptoms, and escalating medical concerns when needed
· Oversee medication administration per policy, including documentation and collaboration with nursing staff
· Complete client admissions, discharges, transfers, safety searches, and orientation procedures
· Facilitate client supervision checks, monitor daily activities, and maintain accurate behavioral documentation
· Assist clients with daily living tasks and encourage engagement in scheduled activities
· Support clients in fostering positive social interactions and developing solution‑focused coping skills
· Facilitate or prepare group sessions, including education, recovery skills, and recreational activities
· Provide safe and timely client transportation to and from appointments
· Assist with urine collection, testing, lab documentation, and adherence to medical protocols
· Monitor signs of withdrawal and respond according to policy when applicable
· Participate as an active member of the treatment team by communicating observations and supporting client goals
· Maintain a clean, safe environment and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
· Respond calmly and effectively to crisis situations and contact appropriate personnel
· Attend required meetings, trainings, and team discussions
· Follow all agency policies, procedures, and medication storage and destruction guidelines
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
· High School diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of responsible employment
· Experience in Human Services or a related field preferred
· For St. Louis County programs: Bachelor's Degree or MAADC I or II
· For Residential Care Facility (RCF): Must attain Level 1 Med Aid (LIMA) and Insulin Certification within the first 90 days of employment
· Exceptions to listed qualifications may be made by the appropriate Executive Team member
