The BHT provides one-to-one assistance to children/adolescents following individual treatment plans designed to teach skills and interventions to help them succeed in the classroom/community/home environment.

The Challenge, in a nutshell:

• Prompt interventions in the areas of behavior management, conflict resolution, anger management, and peer interaction skills based on the treatment plan goals provided by a Behavior Consultant or Mobile Therapist.
• Collect daily data and document progress notes in a prescribed format for each session with the child/adolescent.
• Complete initial and annual training as required
• Collaborate with client, family, and all other assigned team members in order to ensure compliance with CASSP.

What you need to be SUCCESSFUL in the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) CHALLENGE:

• Passion for patient care and a desire to make positive change in someone's life

• Proficiency in Excel, MS Word and ability to learn and efficiently utilize other computer applications
• Must possess or have ability to obtain Act 33, Act 34 and FBI clearances
• Valid PA Driver's license
