Holyoke Medical Center is looking to hire a Behavioral Health Specialist II for our PHP/IOP Programs! To facilitate group therapy focused on mental health and substance use for adults in thePHP and IOPlevel of care. To provide case management services and link patients with aftercare/discharge planning. To provide intakes/psychosocial assessments for incoming patients. Ability to work with patients with co-occurring mental illness and substance use. To complete insurance verifications/reviews. To complete paperwork in a timely and organized fashion. * To participate in multidisciplinaryweekly treatment team meetings. Level of education required: M.Ed., M.A, M.S., MSW, Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D. In addition, must hold LMHC, LICSW, or Licensed Psychologist within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; Two years within clinical specialty, with at least one year in psychiatric crisis intervention, inpatient social work; PHP/IOP setting desirable.
