Summary
This position provides support to individuals with serious mental illness in mental health recovery and building successful independent living skills within a structured environment.
Summary
This position will be responsible for providing direct patient care to all developmental populations which includes maintaining milieu/patient safety, providing skill building/psycho educational groups daily, and observing patient behavior/and pertinent documentation. Provides assistance to the multidisciplinary team related to placement, discharge planning, treatment, linkage to community resources and crisis intervention. Coordinates with team to achieve quality and cost effective patient outcomes.
Education
Bachelor's degree in psychology, human services or related field.
Licensure/Certification
If assigned to drive company vehicle, a valid driver's license is required. If assigned to drive personal vehicle, proof of insurance is required in addition to a valid driver's license. CPR required within 60 days; and NVCI required within 90 days.
Experience
1 year, will consider other relevant experience.
Other Qualifications
Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, assist with 100 pounds.
