The Staff Pad has partnered with a well -known hospital in Helena, MT and we are looking to hire a Behavioral Health Nurse Manager to oversee the operations and clinical leadership of an inpatient behavioral health program.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

What You’ll Do<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

Under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer and in coordination with the hospital, the Behavioral Health Unit Manager:<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

  • Shares responsibility for overall unit operations, patient flow coordination, and delivery of Behavioral Health services<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Serves as an administrative leader collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to advance the organization’s mission, vision, values, and goals<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Oversees staff and departmental operations while fostering a professional, supportive, and effective practice environment<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Promotes patient safety, advocacy, teamwork, respect, and operational efficiency<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Builds and maintains a cohesive, collaborative, and engaged team culture<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Delivers innovative, progressive mental health services across inpatient and community -based settings<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Optimizes operational performance, quality outcomes, and fiscal accountability while enhancing patient, guest, and community experience<\/span><\/span>

  • Supports the organization’s strategic plan through business planning, resource management, program development, budgeting, performance management, quality improvement, staff development, and regulatory compliance<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Defines the treatment program’s philosophy, goals, and objectives in collaboration with the Medical Director<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Directly supervises clinical and administrative staff and provides advisory support to Behavioral Health Unit personnel<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and accrediting body standards and regulations<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      Knowledge & Experience<\/span><\/span>
      <\/p>

      • Minimum 5 years of progressive management or leadership experience in a Behavioral Health setting required<\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Demonstrated success in team building, coaching, mentoring, and staff development<\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Experience with EPIC preferred<\/span><\/span>
        <\/li><\/ul>

        Education<\/span><\/span>
        <\/p>

        • BSN required<\/span><\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Postgraduate degree preferred<\/span><\/span>
          <\/li><\/ul>

          Licensures & Certifications<\/span><\/span>
          <\/p>

          • Current RN license in the State of Montana required<\/span><\/span>
            <\/li>
          • BLS certification required<\/span><\/span>
            <\/li>
          • SECURE certification (or equivalent) required<\/span><\/span>
            <\/li>
          • Mental Health First Aid certification required<\/span><\/span>
            <\/li><\/ul>
