How you'll contribute
- Provide peer support to individuals with substance use and/or substance use disorders.
- Coordinate and expand services for individuals to that are opioid addicted and experiencing an overdose crisis while presenting at the emergency department.
- Provide street outreach to individuals that are homeless, with special emphasis on those that have an opioid addiction.
- Connect clients with health insurance.
- Connect clients with SUD treatment.
- Collaborate with community providers by attending meetings and networking opportunities.
- Assist clients with housing and housing services.

What we're looking for
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, or combination of education and experience required for the job.
- Experience: 1+ years; Self-identify as a recipient or survivor of mental health services, well-grounded in recovery for at least one (1) year.
- Certifications: BCLS upon completion of hospital orientation; Certified Washington State Peer Counselor within 12 months of employment in position.
- Licenses: Must apply for a Washington State Agency Affiliate Counselor Registration within 30 days of hire date.
